DESCRIPTION:OTIS College students present books of art inspired by interviews with community elders.\n\n\nThe best way to learn history is to listen to the stories of the people who have lived it. Otis College of Art and Design students interviewed six elders who have stories to tell. Through these interviews\, students created six original books that share some of these life stories and the students’ artwork in response. \nJoin us for a program in the A-Frame Theater as the Otis students present their works and share highlights from the project. \nAn ADA-accessible entrance to the Glorya Kaufman Community Center is available through the gate from the parking lot at 10858 Culver Blvd.

Working across printmaking\, painting\, digital art\, photography\, and neon\, Victor invites audiences to reflect on the ambiguities and contradictions of contemporary life. Playful\, ironic\, and visually striking\, his work explores everything from human connection and loss to the commercialization of art itself. \nCurated by Wende Museum curators Emma Diffley and Joes Segal\, No Words kicks off the launch of Westwood Contemporary—a new pop-up space supported by Westwood’s Village Square and dedicated to boundary-pushing exhibitions. \nCelebrate with us at our opening reception on Sunday\, May 4\, 2025\, from 4–6 p.m.\, with remarks at 5 p.m. Free and open to the public.
