DESCRIPTION:A unique celebration of the power of the image\, The Photo Society Rendezvous 2026 brings world-renowned photographers together in Los Angeles to connect\, share work\, and inspire. \nThe Photo Society (TPS)\, a non-profit organization of more than 200 National Geographic photographers living and working in dozens of countries\, will host its annual Rendezvous — open to the public for the first time — in Los Angeles on February 10\, 2026\, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM\, at the Glorya Kaufman Community Center / Wende Museum\, 10808 Culver Boulevard\, Culver City\, CA 90230. \nDedicated to passionate visual storytelling\, TPS exists to support and share the work of its members and to tell stories of our living world. “We are committed to the principles of professional documentary photography and photojournalism. In an era of increasing visual chaos\, we seek to elevate and inspire authenticity\, creativity\, and the pursuit of truth in its many forms.” \nThis year’s program will feature the presentation of The Photo Society Lifetime Achievement Award to acclaimed Danish photographer Sisse Brimberg\, a panel discussion on contemporary photography book publishing moderated by Elizabeth Krist featuring Michael Christopher Brown\, Kris Graves\, Isadora Kosofsky\, and Kiliii Yuyan\, a keynote presentation by documentary photographer and filmmaker Lauren Greenfield\, titled “The Profound Impact of the Superficial\,” and the featured panel “Documenting the State of the Union\,” moderated by David Fahey with Barbara Davidson\, Louie Palu\, Mark Peterson\, and Dina Litovsky\, who are reporting on political and social developments across the United States for major publications. \nFounded by National Geographic photographers\, The Photo Society fosters meaningful dialogue around visual storytelling.
