SUMMARY:Artistic Interpretations of the Cosmos
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a presentation at the crossroads of art and the universe. How has art contributed to the dissemination of cutting-edge astronomical knowledge? What role did the visual arts play in the Space Race in the East\, the West\, and the Global South? How is the cosmos interpreted in Afrofuturist artwork? Which artworks\, according to their makers\, were created under the guidance of extraterrestrials?
