Over/Under: A Subversive Newspaper Workshop with Kate Ingold

In dialogue with the closing of Undercurrents I: Stories, Symbols, Sounds and the recent installation of Undercurrents II: Archives and the Making of Soviet Jewish Identity, the Wende Museum invites you to participate in a conceptual, artist-led workshop in which everyday newspapers are transformed into powerful platforms for personal and creative expression.

Eventbrite registration is required, and the recommended age for participation is 12 and up.

About the artist:

Kate Ingold is an LA-based artist and poet working with the discarded, the damaged, and the worn out. Materials and methods include textiles, collage, photography, video, ceramics, and performative installation. She works in series driven by conceptual concerns and is currently making work in two interwoven projects: Relics for Future Rituals and Damaged Goods/Small Repairs.
