Did we just witness the most bizarre election in American history? What happened to our country to get us here? What has been the role of women and minority voters? How can an utterly divided country return to a basic sense of truth and trust? In this panel we put the election in historical perspective and discuss where we are heading with Ellen DuBois, Emeritus Professor of History and Gender Studies at UCLA, Brenda Stevenson, the Nickoll Family Endowed Chair in the Department of History and Professor of African American Studies at UCLA, and Joes Segal, the Wende Museum’s Chief Curator and Director of Programming.
