A group of several hippies protesting war and nuclear weapons march down a sidewalk in St. Petersburg, 1978. Another pedestrian stands in front of the camera. Their back is to camera and they appear to walk towards the right; they are out-of-focus. Beyond the pedestrian, the group of protesters march towards the left. They raise a couple of protest signs above their heads. The rightmost sign shows an "X" is drawn over a silhoutted bomb with an "N" on it. The leftmost sign depicts a flower and in the center of the flower, text reads, "мир" (peace). A building rises alongside the far edge of the sidewalk.
