These pages are part of a longer classification system used to categorize facial and other external physical features in great detail. Graphpaper sheets with labeled diagrams explain the possible variations of certain facial characteristics. Pages 29-30 cover the nose, including nose height, degree of projection, angle of nostrils, nose tip shape, and nostril shape (in German: "Nasenhöhe", "Naseneingangsebene", "Konturen der Nasenspitze (Nasenknorpelbildung)", "Nasenflügelformen"). Pages 33-34 are dedicated to the eye, including angle and shape of eyelids, spacing between the eyes, exceptional features of the eyeball, eyelashes, and eyebrows (in German: "Stellung und Form der Lidspalten", "Augenabstand", "besondere Stellung des Augenapfels", "Wimpern", "Brauen"). Each facial feature is accompanied by hand-drawn anatomical diagrams on pink paper, which are numbered to represent the range of variations that each feature can exhibit. The diagrams have been taped onto the pages, and are correspondingly numbered with hand-written captions to list these variations. This categorization was used for training checkpoint border guards in facial analysis and identity recognition.
