Description

Wood carving with three figures, a woman and two men, carrying a sickle, cog, and hammer, respectively. Metal plaque affixed to the front with engraved German script: "Dem 4. Parteitag der SED. Die Handwerker des Bezirks Erfurt". Translation: "To the fourth Party Convention of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany. The craftspeople of the District Erfurt". Bottom of sculpture reads: AG 1954.
