Description

White plate with a wide blue band around its circumference. This blue band is bordered on either side by a thinner, golden band. Text on the blue band: "Mittlemeer - Schwarzmeer - Reise mit verdienten Parteiveteranen und Parteiarbeitern 10.10.1979-4.11.1979" (Mediterranean - Black Sea travel with merited veterans and workers of the party). In the center of the plate, an ocean liner is outlined in blue with the SED logo above. Below the ship, there is blue text: MS "Völkerfreundschaft" Varna - Sotschi - Constanta - Tripolis - Dubrovnik - Alger - Warnemünde". On the back of the plate is the Kahla logo.
