The cover of the brigade book is red with a golden GDR sign. It is from 1977.The first two pages show that is a book by the "TKO - Kollektiv der sozialistischen Arbeit", the collective of socialist work. The book contains mostly writings about holidays or special occasions/news; it starts with a page about a the honour of the fallen soldiers of the soviet army. Then there is a page about the international womens day, a report about an earthquake in Romania, a page about the celebration of the 1st of may. After that there is a report about the celebration of the 8th of May, the defeat of the german army in world war 2 by the soviet army and page about the "Jugendweihe" of 1977, the soviet equivalent to a confirmation. This is followed by an entry about fathers day and an invitation and report to a brigade party (that sounds like it has been a lot of fun). The next pages are school reports about a brigade members two sons, a report about the brigade vacation and an appeal to go donate blood. The last page of the brigade book is a poster to celebrate the October revolution, the following pages of the book are empty. Almost every page in this book contains pictures (in color). There is also a loose photograph sticked together with 5 tickets for the homeland museum, the picture that shows some furniture is probably a picture of this museum.
