The two hands of the clock are actually the two words: "Rasporiadok" and "Dnia", meaning "daily" and "schedule". The small poem in the right lower corner says: "Shkol'nik, dorozhi minutoi, vernyi schet vedi chasam, rasporiadok dnia ne putai, on vo vsem pomozhet nam" (Schoolboy, stick to the daily schedule, it will help you).
