The Russian text at the top of the print states, "govoriat pomogaet." Translated: "show help." The poster shows a gray man looking ar a TV screen with a politician with a red face. Before perestroika every single word to be said in public was censored. Then glasnost was proclaimed and many talk shows and programs, expecially on TV, became very open and unprecidently radical. But it happened so that a number of times there were criticized by government and party officials, there were banned from the TV screens. It may happen againe when democracy is not observed. And that TV red eye punched by censorship does not look good on the face of perestroika. Before Perestroika, everything said in public was censored. When Glasnost was proclaimed, many television programs became very open and unprecedentedly radical. As openness gradually turned more radical, TV programs received criticism by government and party officials.
