Please join us for a screening on September 18, 2022, at 5 p.m. of The Confession, a 1970 production directed by Constantin Costa-Gavras with Yves Montand and Simone Signoret, based on a true story of one of the show trials in 1950s Czechoslovakia. The screening in the Wende Museum’s West Gallery is a collaboration between the Wende Museum, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, the Consulate General of Greece in Los Angeles, the Consulate General of France in Los Angeles, the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, and the European Languages & Movies in America foundation. The screening will be preceded by a reception in the museum garden starting at 4 p.m.
