The third program in the In Search of Truth series is an interview on the assault on truth in wartime and the proliferation of falsities and propaganda surrounding the Russian occupation of Ukraine. Members of our student council invite John Pomfret, journalist and correspondent for the Washington Post, as well as the author of the recent book From Warsaw with Love: Polish Spies, the CIA, and the Forging of an Unlikely Alliance (2021) which was the center of a recent discussion at the Wende. Pomfret will join the council to discuss truths, lies, and alternative facts in the politics of war (and peace).
