Fall Exhibitions Opening Day

Join us in celebration of our new exhibitions when we will open our first ever exhibition to focus on the material culture of communist China: (De)constructing Ideology: The Cultural Revolution and Beyond.

Also on view will be an exhibition drawing from the international Mail Art movement, For Ruth, The Sky in Los Angeles: Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt and David Horvitz, as well as the open storage installation Gift by Julian Irlinger and a new guardhouse project by Bari Ziperstein.

At noon, there will be a public drawing session in our garden with Culver City Artist Laureate Alexey Steele. There will be curator-led tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m, and a reception with remarks by the curator at 2 p.m.
