Family Day: DIY Saddle Stitch Booklets

Join us at the Wende Museum for a hands-on DIY saddle stitch booklet activity, led by the museum’s Education staff! Learn the simple and practical art of bookbinding and create your very own personalized booklet using this classic technique.

This program is offered in conjunction with Undercurrents II: Archives and the Making of Soviet Jewish Identity, which presents underground, handmade (samizdat) publications from the private archive of a leader of the Soviet Jewish underground in the 1980s.

All ages are welcome! Participation in the activity will be available on a walk-in basis, and light refreshments will be provided.
