Heidi Duckler Dance Presents What Remains Un/Seen

Choreographed and directed by HDD Founder and Artistic Director Heidi Duckler, What Remains Un/Seen delves into the deep waters of surveillance and societal control, inspired by the themes of the Wende Museum’s exhibition Counter/Surveillance.

This compelling work invites audiences into the inner garden, which Mexican-American Scenic Designer, Efren Delgadillo Jr. will transform into an enigmatic space. Here, movement and mystery converge in interactive vignettes where HDD dancers animate the silent dialogues of observation. These performances subtly reveal the tensions between visibility and the unseen, offering a nuanced examination of the dance between the observer and the observed.

Event Schedule:
4 pm | Self-guided Counter/Surveillance gallery tour
5 pm | First performance
6 pm | Second performance
7 pm | Self-guided Counter/Surveillance gallery tour for second group
8pm | Museum closes

This program is supported, in part, by the Wende Museum, the City of Culver City, California, and its Cultural Affairs Commission, with additional support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
