Interview with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the Leader of the Belarusian Pro-Democracy Movement
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the leader of the Belarusian democratic forces, is visiting the United States for the first time this July. Currently exiled, Tsikhanouskaya was the opposition candidate in the contested Belarusian presidential election on August 9, 2020, against President Alexander Lukashenko.
As part of her diplomatic visit to the U.S., Tsikhanouskaya will be interviewed by Dr. Sasha Razor at the Wende Museum, with an introduction by Joes Segal, the Wende’s Chief Curator and Director of Programming.
