Music at the Wende: Piano Spheres Presents Vicki Ray: 21 Bricks

Vicki Ray and composer/performer Stefan Carow collaborate on a new work about an old phenomenon—a metropolis split by a concrete wall. The evening will explore the terrains of music, spoken word, film, and improvisation.

About Piano Spheres

Piano Spheres supports and encourages the composition and performance of major new works for the piano. It enlarges the piano repertoire by commissioning new works and sustaining a concert series that focuses primarily on works by contemporary composers.

About Music at the Wende

Music at the Wende is a new music series in which esteemed Southern California musical organizations present free concerts at the Wende Museum, with musical programs inspired by the Wende collection. For the full schedule, click here

The concert series is generously supported by the Music at the Wende Donor Group.

This performance is made possible in part by the City of Culver City, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Performing Arts Grant Program, with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
