OTIS College: True Stories Student Presentation

The best way to learn history is to listen to the stories of the people who have lived it. Thirty OTIS College of Art and Design students interviewed six elders who have stories to tell – Vietnam veterans, a Holocaust survivor, and immigrants from Mexico and Panama. Through these interviews, students created six original books that share some of these life stories and the students’ artwork in response.

Join us for a program in the Wende’s West Gallery as performers recite portions of these oral histories and the students share artwork from the project.
