Wende Museum Teen Night

Presented by the Wende Teen Council, Teen Night at the Wende Museum welcomes local teenagers (ages 13-18 only) to visit the museum for an evening of live music, artmaking activities, and exploration of the past and present through the Wende’s unique presentations of contemporary art and artifacts from communist countries during the Cold War period.

The evening’s attractions include:

Outdoor DJ and Live Music

David Bowie Poster Printmaking Station

In-Gallery Vinyl Record Cart by Mr. GOODBOY

Glam Make-Up/Facepainting by SCREAMINMEEMZ

Complementary Food by Vegan Banh Mi Thao

Gallery Tour of the exhibitions Vietnam In Transition: 1976-Present and David Bowie In The Soviet Union, led by the Wende Teen Council

The event is “Glam Rock” themed, and dress up/costumes are encouraged.

There is no entry without a confirmed Eventbrite registration and valid student ID (middle or high school only).

Backpacks, large bags, skateboards, vapes, cigarettes, and cannabis products are all prohibited from the event.

The Wende’s teen program is generously supported by Amazon, Mark Hughes Foundation, Skip Victor, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
