Wende Museum Teen Council Applications Due

The Wende Museum Teen Council is a volunteer program for local high school students (Grades 9-12) that meets twice monthly to engage with the museum’s collections, create art collaboratively, and plan an end-of-school-year Teen Night event.

This year’s art project, KEY CHANGE, led by local artist and musician Misha Lindes, will have students imagine a fictional musical group’s “brand” using design thinking and other activities to choose a genre, create merch, and more.

The program will run from December 2023 to May 2024, with students meeting IN-PERSON as a cohort twice a month at the Wende Museum in Culver City.

Participants must be able to consistently attend these after-school Teen Council meetings, which will held on Thursdays from 4 – 5:30pm.

Outside of student eligibility, there are no formal requirements to become a member of the Wende’s Teen Council – just an open mind and creative spirit.

Applications must submitted by November 19th to be considered. To apply, click here.

The Wende Teen Program is supported by Amazon, Mark Hughes Foundation, Skip Victor, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
