Ruth Price documentary screening “The Lady Can Sing”
This documentary traces the remarkable life of Ruth Price, a jazz doyenne, acknowledged by her fellow artists and the public alike, as one of the greatest jazz vocalists of all time. Aged 95, Ruth is still running The Jazz Bakery in L.A., a venue she founded in 1992 that remains the destination for the greatest and finest jazz performers from around the world. Her incredible story needs to be told, not only in celebration of her artistic genius, but also in recognition of her unstinting support and selfless championing of America’s finest contribution to the world – jazz music!
This screening is free to attend, but please get a ticket to ensure you have a spot! Parking is available in the lot in front of the theatre.
