Family Day: Cold War, Hot Wheels

Join us at the Wende Museum for a special celebration of Cold War-era car culture in East and West.

Custom Hot Wheels race tracks and cars will be available for youth to enjoy, as well as a paper pop-up car model building activity. From the Wende’s Collection, East Bloc automotive industry ephemera will be on-display, including an authentic Wartburg 353, a vehicle produced in East Germany from 1966 to 1988.

No prior registration is required and there is no cost to participate. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
