Digitization Day

Looking to digitize personal or family archival material? Come to the Wende Museum’s Digitization Day on Saturday, March 22!

The event will start at 12 p.m. in the Glorya Kaufman Community Center’s A-Frame Theater with an introduction to digital preservation by Wende’s archival team. Printed information about preserving your personal or family digital collections will also be available.

Reserve below for a 50-minute time slot at one of the scanners. Wende staff will be on hand to help you as needed. Please bring your own portable USB-A-compatible storage device (such as an external hard drive or thumb drive).

The event is free, reservations are required to use the equipment. Please read the descriptions to decide which equipment to sign up for. Please only sign up for one piece of equipment per time slot; if you would like to use both the copy stand camera and a scanner please sign up for two seperate time slots.

Scanner: Paper materials (photos, letters, ephemera, etc.) that do not exceed 8.5″ x 11.7″

Copy stand camera (staff operated): Paper materials (including photo albums and scrapbooks) that do not exceed 19″ x 23″
