Photograph of a poster for the Elton John and Ray Cooper USSR tour in Leningrad, 1979. The poster itself has four vertical stripes running parallel to the side edges. The stripes curl in towards the top of the poster, appearing to mimic stage curtains. The header of the poster mimics either a border curtain or raised theater curtains; these are represented by a series of vertical lines across the top of the image. Amongst these vertical lines, text reads, "[...]концерт ссср". The main body of the poster includes text about the concert. A portrait photograph of Elton John performing sits in the middle of the image. "элтон" (Elton), is written to the left of the photo, and "джон" (John), is written to the left of Elton John's portrait. "Рей Купер" (Ray Cooper) is written below his portrait. Below that text, another larger photo is centered along the bottom of the poster. Two shadowed individuals appear to each stand in front of a gothic window. The windows sit along each side edge of the image.
