Misha Malin and two others pose near an intersection in Leningrad, 1980. The three men stand in a row at center, looking to camera and with their hands in their jacket pockets. All three carry bags. Both the man at left and the man at center have long-strapped messenger bags slung over their shoulders. A peace sign is on the closing flap of the bag carried by the man at center. Misha Malin stands at right and wears a backpack on his chest. Behind Malin, a traffic light hovers over the intersection in the background. Nearby pedestrians either walk down the sidewalk or cross the street in the background at right. In the background at left, a storefront is visible and a car is parked alongside stanchions separating the street and the sidewalk.
