Couples cross a threshold during a wedding ceremony in Klaipeda, Lithuania, 1979. A couple holds hands at center. The bride stands at left, holding flowers and wearing a veil while looking demurely to camera. The groom stands at right, carrying an object in his hand while he looks to the left. He appears to lock eyes with a woman holding open a door at left; she looks sternly back to him. Another couple walks directly behind the couple at center. The woman walks behind the bride and the man walks behidn the groom. Another door stands open along the right edge.
