White porcelain plate with gold edge with image of an open parachute against a blue background. A rifle across the parachute and the emblem of the GDR at the very bottom of the parachute. Oak leaves come out from the GDR emblem. Top says in gold "Fallschirmjägerbataillon", which translates to "Paratrooper Battalion". Bottom says "Willi Sänger". The Willi Sänger Battalion was the 40th Batillion, created in 1962. Winterling logo on back with "1764 "Made in GDR 1".
