At the top of the poster, against the background of Soviet planes flying in red sky towards the left edge of the poster, a face of a Soviet soldier calling (probably his fellows to attack), turning half way to the left edge of the poster. Below him, a red submachine gun placed diagonally, dividing the poster in two parts. Below it, against a white background symbolizing snow, a black row of German soldiers dressed in rags walking through a blizzard towarts the right edge of the poster. To the right of them, black remainders of German military equipment half-covered with snow; to the left of them, a black row of grave markers in the form of crosses, with German helmets on their tops, also half-covered with snow. The text on the submachine gun says "Stalingrad, February 2, 1943" - the date of the defeat of German troops under Stalingrad.
