Small metal plaque on lower right corner reads "Dem Generalsekretär Erich Honecker seinem 75 Geburtstag Die Kommunistsche Partei Vietnams". Gift from the Communist Party of Vietnam to Erich Honecker on the occasion of his 75th birthday (August 25, 1987).
