Porcelain plate with dark blue rim and menu printed in Swedish in the center of the plate. Rim reads, "Vi tillonskar cara gaster ett lyckosamt Gott Nytt At 1973" (We wish our guests a happy new year in 1973) and "MS Völkerfreundschaft Kapten och hans besattning samt Stena Line" (MS Völkerfreundschaft in partnership with the captain and crew of the Stena Line). The menu is titled "Nyarsmiddag" (New Year's Dinner).
