Description

Silver metal of the rocket Voskhod 1, a Soviet space flight flown by cosmonauts Vladimir Komarov, Konstantin Feoktistov, and Boris Yegorov. It was the first flight to carry more than one human into orbit, as well as the first flight without the use of space suits, due to physical space and payload capacity restrictions. The flight launched on October 12, 1964 and returned the following day, October 13.
