The Consul typewriter was manufactured in Czechoslovakia and produced by Zbrojovka Brno primarily from the1960s to late 1970s. The face of the typewriter is light grey and says "Consul" in large bold letters. The back of this typewriter has a label with the model number, the manufacturer's logo, and the words "Made in Czechoslovakia." Its hardshell case is made of pleather and has a clasp closure that can be locked, however there is no key. Along with the machine itself, the case contains an instruction manual (instructions written in Czech, German, English, French, Spanish and Russian), an extra spool of ribbon, and a brush for cleaning the machine.
