Dembel album, 1982-1984, found in Lithuania The dembel or demobilization album documented a soldier's time served in the army (anywhere from two to three years). This dembel album has a blue velvet cover with the soldier's name in Russian on the front cover along with the dates "1982-1984". The scrapbook contains mostly photographs of the soldier, his friends, and the places he visited while serving in the army. Along with the photos, numerous pages have feltwork art.
