A souvenir from 1972 presented as a gift to Vladimir Petrovich on his 60th birthday from the Instrumentalist Collective. The statue depicts a rover blasting off of the moon with a commemorative plaque. The base is a half-domed moon made out of shiny golden brass. At the top of the dome, a smoke trail is depicted in plexiglass underneathe a rover rocket assumed to be blasting off from the moon. The metal above the smoke has six round balls and three small hanging metal rods attached. The rover piece has four solar panel slots and one is missing. The rover has eight wheels and a gear-like attachment on top of it. The plaque behind the rocket structure is an oval shape that is sticking out of the moon at an angle. It is outlined in brass and plexiglass is covering a grey background with stars and specs depicting space. At the top of the plaque a circle has been cut out and a three-dimensional globe is placed within it. The globe can rotate and CCCP, the Cyrillic abbreviation of Союз Советских Социалистических Республик (the USSR), is labeled on the Russian area of the map. Some elements appear to be missing.
