Description

Chinese Cultural Revolution era stoneware bowl, the interior of which showcases a slogan in the top half and an illustration of a radish and some greeneries in the bottom half. The slogan reads "Grasp Revolution, Promote Production," taken from Mao's speech in 1966 which set the terms for the economic agenda. The bowl has a pale yellow background and a green rim, and the slogan is written with red.
