Chinese Cultural Revolution era enamel bowl, depicting three Little Red Guards on the interior of the bowl. The Little Red Guards was a Cultural Revolution era initiative replacing the Young Pioneers organizations, aimed to mobilize primary and secondary school children for the communist cause. One of the Little Red Guards wears a green cap with a red star, a green shirt with a red arm band and a red scarf, and is blowing a horn. The other two Little Red Guards are carrying guns and marching towards the right. The enamel bowl has a white background with a yellow rim. On the exterior of the bowl there are brown outlines of flowers. On the bottom of the bowl there is a stamp from the enamelware factory. Also on the bottom are signs of paint for repair.
