Description

Chinese Cultural Revolution era enamel bowl, depicting a woman with long gray hair, pale purple shirt and blue pants, looking out from the mountain top. In the background there are mountain ranges in green and pale purple. On the left side of the illustration there are two lines, excerpted from a popular revolutionary song in the 60s, which roughly translates to "never forget the suffering of our class, and always remember the blood-and-tears vengeance." The bowl has a pale greenish yellow rim. On the exterior wall of the bowl there are green flowers. The brand marker is on the exterior base.
