A QSL card from March 1959 to radio "wlbih." The black and white image on the front of the card is of Altai Republic, at a tourist camp near Mount Belukha. UC2AA is superimposed over the image in orange block lettering that is slightly opaque. The back is stamped with an insignia that includes a hammer and sickle and the lettering ИЗОГИЗ. The form on the back has been filled out in blue ink. The space for the stamp and address is blank. QSL cards are written confirmation of two-way radiocommunication between amateur radio or citizens band stations; one-way reception of a signal from a radio, television, or shortwave broadcasting station; or the reception of a two-way radiocommunication by a third party listener. They are typically the same size and material as a postcard and are sent through the mail.
