A machine gun-like weapon with collaged condoms instead of a bandolier of bullets races across the poster on wheels, with colored dashed lines simulating motion. The male astrological sex symbol is placed in the bottom right hand corner of the composition, and the text alternates between Russian and English words. The title of the work, “Meet AIDS fully armed!!!,” and the inscription below the weapon, “Only safe sex,” plays with the metaphor of the war on AIDS as an actual battle that requires the use of condoms as the weapons to win the war.
