Description

This painting depicts a peace parade, with various nationalities indicated via flags, dress, and languages on banners. Some flags include India, Cuba, North Korea, East Germany, Jamaica, and Yugoslavia, as well as a banner of Lenin and banners saying "Peace" in various languages. There is also a peace dove. The specific flags depicted help date the painting, with the Cuban flag design from after the 1959 Cuban Revolution and the inclusion of Yugoslavia before it joined the Non-Aligned Movement. On the backside there is authentic tag of the Artist Fund. This Painting decorated the Central Conference Hall of the Rivne Oblast' during Communist Era.
