Situated a long way outside of Bucharest’s historic center, which was destroyed to make way for the so-called People’s House, Capra is typical of Ceausescu’s absurd and arbitrary urban plans. The church was moved twice, displaced by a total 97.6 yards. It now stands next to a cemetery. The church bells were removed and placed next to the church.
