NO PLACE LIKE HOME – WENDE MUSEUM TEEN NIGHT 2026
The Wende Teen Council presents NO PLACE LIKE HOME, a free Teen Night event at the Wende Museum for current high school students ONLY. Admission is free of charge, and a valid high school student ID will be required at the door.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME is the perfect space to connect, create, and vibe. Open to all 2025–26 school year high school students, with valid student ID required at entry.
This year’s event will feature an installation of student-produced art, presented in conjunction with the Wende Museum’s current exhibition Enrique Martínez Celaya: The Sextant, that explores the meaning of “home” as both a physical and emotional space, one that offers refuge in the face of ICE raids and police violence in our community, holds the bonds of family, and reflects the roots, cultures, and identities that shape who we are.
Students wishing to contribure works to the installation can submit their proposal here in advance of the event.
Enjoy custom screenprinting and laser engraving by Creative Rush Merch and Events, food provided by Taco ‘Bout Amazing, and live music and DJs.
The Wende’s teen program is supported by Sony Pictures Entertainment, Amazon, Mark Hughes Foundation, and Skip Victor.
